They tell us that once his counts come back...the mouth sore's will disappear. Till then he controls the pain with the morphine pump. We continue with the foot soaks...mouth rinses & lots of morphine.
I had asked the Child care Specialist for Paint by Numbers for him. Sometimes when you do something like that...it can take your mind off your body...and the different aches & pains you're going through. Right now he's totally absorbed in the painting & much calmer.

I just wanted you to know, I am here everyday checking and praying. I just don't get to comment much. But I am still here.
Hang in there both of you!!!
Hi Matty,
I was gone for a while and I just finished catching up on all your posts here. I'm in awe of Mr. T, his strength and all he faces each day. I hope his counts start coming up as soon as possible and his mouth starts feeling better right away. I saw in an earlier post that you were trying to get a room at RMH. Did you get in?
Hugs and prayers,
Jennifer
I've not gone anywhere, still waiting with you both. I am so grateful for you that you have access to that bookstore and that the nurses are so understanding. Hang in there, not that I doubt you will for a second.
I hope the counts go where they should soon! I also think about your family at home.
And it is heart warming to hear about Mr. T's soft side, his concern for those around him.
